As of recently you may have noticed that your Blogger profile image is blurry. Many of our premade Blogger templates have a custom profile section that allows your profile image to be larger than the normal Blogger profile size. A few clients brought it to our attention that their once clear image all of the sudden looked blurry. It turns out that as of late April 2015 Blogger now re-sizes all profile images to 80px x 80px (even to profile image add before 4/15) and then if you have a custom profile image size it then blows it up and it looks horrible. So no matter what size image you upload blogger will shrink it and then blow it up. Sill not sure why they made this change but for now there is an easy fix to get your profile image back to its clear resolution!
So here is how to fix the blurry profile image:
1. Copy the code below:
2. Go to your “layout” page.
3. In the sidebar click “add gadget” and choose “html/javascript”
4. Paste the code inside the gadget and click save.
5. Drag the gadget below your profile gadget
6. Click to save your arrangement
Now check out your blog and your profile image should be restored to it’s original, beautiful state! If not, try refreshing your screen.
Be sure if you are using one of our premade Blogger templates that the image you upload is at least 220px x 220px or your image will still be blurry.
If you are NOT using one of our templates and your image is blurry be sure your image is at least the standard size of 80px x 80px

Sorry for the late reply, you may have already fixed it but the image uploaded has to be a square so all equal sides for example 750×750, 600×600, etc… Hope that helps 🙂
